List of telugu movies that I watched in the last month

I am @ my desk. I see my wife smiling at a vessel filled with boiling milk as she drops a handful of sugar in it. There is poster which Yadav bought me from the streets of chennai which talks about every morning in Africa. And there is this almost torn piece of paper that houses the words of wisdom by Rudyard Kipling. As I type this post, 50 cents woes a girl to have a baby by him and following which Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kayne and Drake would sing Forever and Florida would go round and round.

Felt good and then disappointed

It was the turn of another movie to make me feel good all throughout and then disappoint me at the end. The first was Kallori and now Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. Both the movies made me feel good throughout but when the curtains came down, I was disappointed with the ending. There is one thing that was common in both these movies. There was no strong plot in both these movies. They were sequence of what happens in every day life, but just to give a jolt to the audiences, I believe the ending was made negative. Because, till the end in Kallori, you would feel that Muthu and Shobana would declare the love for each other and get married. But thats when director decides to give the audience something else and in turn ends the movie with the demise of Shohana. The same thing happens in Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu.

Probably the end jolt bring the audience back to reality that all well may not end well. They put a smile in your face all throughout and then make you frown at the end.

What I’m listening to these days

I have no clue on what has happened to me. The flavor of these days has been Indi Pop, especially the ones from new hindi movies. It all started with “Nagada Nagada” from Jab We Met and as I write this post I am listenting to “Tu hai meri soniye – Ai Pappi” from Kismat Konnection and the one in my download basket is “Rock On”. I donno what is the root cause of this change. Is it good music, or am I watching Mtv, Channel V a lot these days.  Surprisingly, most of the albums that I hear to, the composer is Pritam. And Infact, Pritam has a huge list of chart busters to his name. Dhoom, Dhoom II, Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Bhool Bhulaiya, Jab We Met, Race and finally Singh is Kinng are a few. I am a big fan of the “Bas Ek Kinng” song from Singh is Kinng.

The last tamil music album that I had downloaded was Bheema which had very good numbers. The other day I was hearing to Kuruvi; Vijay’s latest blockbuster, atleast thats what all tamil newspapers say so; all I could hear was blaring horns and drums with lyrics making no sense.

Waiting for some good tamil numbers.. …… ….

This pappu can dance

jaane tu ya jaane na

I am damn sure that this pappu will definitely make the box office dance to his tunes. If you are bored, stressed, upset then Jaane tu .. is exactly what the doctor ordered for you.

A refreshingly youthful movie. Although you the ending of movie after the scene where Imran and Genelia try to find partners for one another, the director had made sure that we stay till the end.

On the whole, a good time pass.
